"Hi, I'm Lori Ruzek with Hair Extension Institute in Suwanee, Georgia. I have been a member of The Barter Company for over 20 years. What I really like about barter is that I can use barter money anywhere within their system. So if a client comes to me and they own a florist, I don't have to use that money just buying flowers. I can use it anywhere in the network. And there's lots of different ways to spend your barter money. We've done Airbnbs. We've done airline tickets. We've had landscapers come out on barter. We had someone hang our Christmas lights. Just a number of different things. My husband has a thing for sunglasses, so he has many pairs of sunglasses he's gotten on barter. I think for a business owner, barter is a great thing. Just because you know you can trade your services and it works for almost everyone."
