I love the staff at The Barter Company office. They're amazing. They're always super helpful. I love that, like our company, they partner with a lot of locally owned and operated quality businesses, licensed and insured. So it's people who provide great services and have great products. I really love that about them. It really does a lot to free up cash flow for your business and let you get things that you would normally get with cash, but with barter instead. We use it for a lot of business expenses. We do all of our promotional products like our hats, koozies, and things like that. We also have clients who are on barter, So that allows us to partner with them, especially restaurants. It's a really great deal for restaurants because they also have issues with cash flow.

Barter has allowed us to do so many things. We had our house painted, and as a matter of fact, I'm actually leaving here to go get my hair and my nails done through barter. We've gone on vacation on barter. We've bought a Green Egg Grill and accessories on barter. But I think probably the thing that has been most impactful for for me personally on a familial level is a situation about five years ago when my son needed dental work and sent him to a dentist up in Massachusetts (as that's where he lives) and they ruined all of his teeth. Fast forward to this past year, his teeth were crumbling from the inside out like stale cookies in his mouth and he needed to have all of his teeth replaced. We have five kids, we're paying off five sets of student loans. We have my dad that we pay for hospice. We have my father-in-law who lives with us that we pay for. Coming up with another $115,000 seemed impossible. I flew my son here and was able to use barter dollars towards the procedure. My son was was on the verge of being in a serious healthcare crisis, and barter helped me save my son's life.
